PV INTERNATIONAL PROSPECTS brings the world of International Futbol right inside the front door of Casa Pura Vida! Welcome to Pura Vida Elite's newest program for our most dedicated La Cantera players, ages 9 to 16. Through PV's growing network of partnerships with leading Academies in Costa Rica and Spain, PV Int'l Prospects offers our elite La Cantera players a unique opportunity to train + compete alongside top international talents. Participating La Cantera players will take part in fully immersive training camps in Costa Rica and earn a rostered spot in prestigious international tournaments around the globe. WHAT IS PV INTERNATIONAL PROSPECTS?:
CULTURAL IMMERSION: PV Int'l Prospects is your player’s passport to a cultural experience and a taste of the diverse flavors of international futbol. More than just a training program abroad, it's an invitation for Cantera players to test their rapidly developing technical skills + immerse themselves fully in new styles of play as a guest player with an elite international academy.
GLOBAL FUTBOL NETWORKING: We are excited to leverage PV's professional relationships, formed over decades, to help our players build their own futbol networks that will span continents and last a lifetime.
FUTBOL JOURNEY: PV Int'l Prospects is designed to expand the horizons of our most dedicated players. The goal is to challenge La Cantera's most accomplished players and equip them with the experience and confidence to compete at the highest level internationally. PV Int'l Prospects builds player resilience and relationships. On the playing field, embraced by a new team, players must learn to adapt to new styles of play. They will be coached professionally and given the opportunity to contribute to their team's success in some of the futbol world's most competitive tournaments. Vamos!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN PV INT'L PROSPECTS:
• Participating players must be fully enrolled in La Cantera for a six-month period to be considered for a PV Int'l Prospects Training Camp or tournament.
• Trial + Selection: Costa Rica-based "Trial" Training Camp serves as a player's full immersion introduction to their academy peer group + allows for player evaluation by the academy head coach to determine eligibility for inclusion in a pool of rostered tournament players.
• Selection for tournament play affords players access to an annual calendar of international tournaments, including some of the heavyweights in elite international youth futbol competition.
