Welcome to Pura Vida Elite's International program for our most dedicated La Cantera athletes of all ages. Through PV's growing network of partnerships with leading International Academies, PV INTL offers a unique pathway to train + compete alongside top international talents. Participating La Cantera players will take part in a fully immersive Training + Trial Camp in San José, Costa Rica, gaining valuable exposure to international styles of play + the opportunity to earn a rostered position for some of the most prestigious tournaments around the globe. WHAT IS PV INTERNATIONAL?
CULTURAL IMMERSION: PV INTL is your player’s passport to an insider's cultural experience + taste of the diverse international flavors of futbol! More than simple a training program abroad, it's an invitation for Cantera players to test their rapidly developing technical skills + immerse themselves fully in new styles of play as a guest player with an elite international academy.
GLOBAL FUTBOL NETWORKING: We are excited to leverage PV's professional relationships, formed over decades, to help our players build their own futbol networks that will span continents and last a lifetime.
FUTBOL JOURNEY: PV INTL is designed to expand the horizons of our most dedicated players. The goal is to challenge La Cantera's elite athletes and equip them with the experience + confidence to compete at the highest level internationally. Embraced by a new team + celebrated professional coaches, PV INTL athletes will build relationships + resilience, both on and off the field, as they learn how to adapt to new styles of play. VAMOS!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN PV INTL:
• Participating players must be fully enrolled in La Cantera for a six-month period prior to be considered for a PV INTL Training Camp + Tournament.
• Trial + Selection: Costa Rica-based "Trial" Training Camp serves as a player's full immersion introduction to their academy peer group + allows for player evaluation by the academy head coach to determine eligibility for inclusion in a pool of rostered tournament players.
• Selection for tournament play affords players access to an annual calendar of international tournaments, including some of the heavyweights in elite international youth futbol competition.
