DIEGO RESTREPO

Current Manchester City Women's + Wales Women's National Team GK Coach; Former Director of GK Coaching DC United (MLS); Former Head of Goalkeeping Bay FC (NWSL). Diego Restrepo brings 20+ years of Professional Goalkeeper experience, both as a player and coach, from the top Professional Men's + Women's football leagues of Europe, South America 🇨🇴and the United States 🇺🇸 that produce electric World Cup goalkeepers!

As a player, Restrepo developed in the competitive South American system, representing clubs like América de Cali + Deportivo Táchira, (environments known for producing elite, fearless goalkeepers). Diego won the NCAA D1 National Championship with UVA. His pro journey continued in the U.S., where he earned 'USL GK of the Year' w/ San Antonio FC.

Diego's transition from player to coach placed him inside top-tier football structures. Working alongside FIFA World Cup veteran Wayne Rooney 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 at DC United, Restrepo was exposed daily to the standards, mentality + expectations of players who perform on football’s biggest stage.

Today, Diego is immersed in international football. With Wales, a nation returning to the FIFA World Cup for the first time in decades, Diego operates within a national team environment, where every detail of preparation is focused on global competition.

With Manchester City Women, Diego competes in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, where world's top players prepare year-round for international tournaments, including the World Cup!

CALIXTO BARRIOS

Originally from Panama 🇵🇦, Calixto Barrios brings an international perspective shaped by both Central American football and the U.S. development system, with a close connection to the Panama National Team development pathway.

As a goalkeeper coach within the Austin FC MLS NEXT Academy, one of the top youth development environments in the country, Barrios trains and prepares goalkeepers for the pros.

With experience connected to a nation that has reached the FIFA World Cup + hands-on involvement in elite academy structures, Calixto understands how to guide players step-by-step towards the upper levels of international football.

JUAN CEDIEL

Juan Cediel is in his second season as Goalkeeper Coach for the University of Miami Hurricanes Women's NCAA Division 1 program. Before Miami, Coach Cediel spent two seasons as Goalkeeper Coach for the University of Southern Mississippi Women's program, where his keepers tallied 7 clean sheets.

As a goalkeeper coach, educator, and content creator, Juan has dedicated his career to developing training methods that blend technical mastery, mental resilience, and tactical intelligence - the tools keepers around the world need to dominate their box and their mindset.

JESSE CORKE

Jesse Corke is a Long Island, NY native who played collegiately at Molloy College, where he was named ECC Goalkeeper of the Year in 2014. He went on to play professionally with the New York Cosmos and overseas in Germany.

Jesse's coaching career spans Molloy College (2015–2021), Long Island University Men's Soccer (where he was part of back-to-back NEC Championship teams in 2023 and 2024), and Director of Goalkeeping at Long Island Soccer Club, where he continues to serve. He has also coached with Blau Weiss Gottschee and Juventus Miami Academy.

Jesse's coaching philosophy emphasizes consistency in fundamentals, communication, and decision-making under pressure, using game-like situations that prepare goalkeepers to perform when it counts.

GUSTAVO DURRUTY

Originally from Mexico 🇲🇽, Tavo brings passion, knowledge and daily commitment to the development of goalkeepers at Pura Vida.

As Pura Vida's Head Goalkeeper Coach, Tavo works closely with players of all levels; building strong technical foundations, confidence and a true understanding of the position.

Having played professionally, his connection to Mexican football gives him insight into one of the most competitive football environments in the Americas.

Working closely with Coach Restrepo + Coach Barrio throughout the camp, Coach Gustavo will maintain a strong connection before, during, and after the World Cup GK experience, ensuring every PV GK receives follow-up +continued, long-term developmental support.
