Train + Guest Play internationally with a Top Costa Rican Futbol Academy!

We are excited to announce an exclusive partnership between Pura Vida Elite Training & Costa Rican Academy, Futbol Consultants, to bring La Cantera athletes of all ages the unique opportunity to train + trial with a top developmental Academy in San José, Costa Rica.
 
PV International is Pura Vida's unique platform to expose our most committed + accomplished athletes, between birth years 2008-2016, to international styles of play + elite tournament competition.

To provide a fully immersive futbol experience, consistent with Pura Vida's culturally driven values and mission to bring international futbol flavor to our players, each camp will be limited to a maximum of 3x players per birth year. Participating players will be fully integrated with FC's Academia Central during all training + tournament play. FC Academy's Technical Director, Edson Soto, will individually evaluate all players. Select players will be invited to guest play with FC Academy in world class tournaments like MIC Barcelona, MADCUP (Madrid) & Dallas Cup.

With our Costa Rican + latin roots, Pura Vida's training style matches perfectly with Coach Edson + Futbol Consultants' dynamic, possession-based style of futbol that consistently produces starters for Costa Rica's National Teams + 1st Division Clubs.

Coach Edson has taken U17 + U20 Costa Rican National Teams to FIFA World Cups in Korea, Columbia + Egypt, where he led the U-20s to a 4th place finish. Coach Edson has also won U17, U20 & U21 National Championships with 1st Division side Deportivo Saprissa.

Pura Vida + Futbol Consultants will offer Costa Rica Training Camps year-round. With a minimum requirement of 4x training days, our camps are highly customizable. You may design a camp with 100% pure futbol focus, or sprinkle in a few days on the coast to surf + play mejenga en la playa!

​Training days include morning small group, technical training sessions + evening team training. Camp prices include accommodation, training, airport transfers (to/from), breakfast, private local transport + 3x Adventure Tours (lunches + transport included). All prices calculated based on "triple occupancy" (1x player + up to 2x family members). PV + FC's 2026 'Tico Training Camps' will be offered during the following school breaks + holidays:

All La Cantera athletes are encouraged to enquire about PV INTL Training Camps. Participating players must possess a high level of technical skill to succeed in this challenging training environment. FC Academy's coaching staff will oversee all player selection for 2026/27 International Tournament play.
